Dwight Fraser
Dwight began his career with Canadian Retailer, Zellers in 1978. After 12 years in the retail business, he moved into other ventures, always exercising his entrepreneurial spirit. Throughout his career, Dwight has successfully developed and operated several Subway markets, an A&W, Doughnut Shops, A Movie Theatre, A Kwik Kopy Franchise, and a Championship Junior “A” Hockey Franchise.

Dwight has a track record of success in many areas of business including, but not limited to, quick service restaurants, service stations, real estate, a a movie theatre and more. He attributes much of his success to the powerhouse brands and partners he works with, and the strong team of leaders he relies on.

Arlene Dore
Arlene Dore is the Chief Executive Officer of Clearstone Capital, where she leads the firm’s investment strategy, oversees the assessment of new opportunities, and guides portfolio company growth. With a strong background in finance and operational leadership, she brings a disciplined, strategic approach to private equity investing.

In addition to her role at Clearstone, Arlene serves as Chief Financial Officer of FMI, a leading multi-unit operator with a portfolio of over 400 franchises. Her expertise in financial management along with her passion for transformational strategic planning and leadership have played a key role in optimizing performance across FMI's businesses. Since 2008, she has worked with the FMI team to promote and realize significant growth, both organically and through M&A.

Before joining FMI, Arlene spent 12 years in public practice, serving various sized businesses in a variety of industries while developing expertise in leadership, audit engagements, tax compliance and financial analysis.

Associate
Alex Arnold
Alex is an Associate at Clearstone, where he focuses on evaluating investment opportunities, conducting due diligence, and supporting portfolio company growth. With a background in investment banking and private equity, he brings a strong analytical foundation and transaction experience across multiple industries.

Prior to joining Clearstone, Alex worked as an Investment Banking Analyst at Barclays in Toronto, where he was part of the diversified coverage group. He contributed to M&A transactions and financing initiatives, including leveraged buyouts and strategic acquisitions. His experience includes analyzing financial statements, building financial models, and preparing pitch materials for large public companies.
